I then start at the outside of puttng two petals together, work my way toward the center then slide the needle under the fabric to the next petal seam and work my way toward the outside edge. I read somewhere that you can float the thread under the fabric for an inch with no problems. Working this way you may get by with only four thread cuts.<br />My favorite of your flowers is the bottom one!Stray Stitches (Linda G)https://www.blogger.com/profile/13745220686468103536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4770913540965015691.post-53466183800286336952010-11-18T07:50:11.375-05:002010-11-18T07:50:11.375-05:00Great flowers!

I always have to cut my thread 6 times. So when you do find the perfect method, I would also like to know it! Then open out place next petal & sew to centre & so on until all 6 are sewn to the centre. That uses one length of thread & i then sew the side seams down & that is where i have the stop & start of sewing. I haven't figure any other way to do them yet that would be continuous.Jeanettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17132436602889338592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4770913540965015691.post-29649150118302613402010-11-16T21:03:34.140-05:002010-11-16T21:03:34.140-05:00Love the flowers this week and slowing down to one...Love the flowers this week and slowing down to one a day still sounds pretty darn good to me!
